GM Dictionary: Gardens #8

As we enter summer here in the northern hemisphere we are going to cover gardens! Whether diving into your own vegetable garden or visiting a big public garden, there are many ways of building one and this month’s GMD will hopefully reinforce or expand your knowledge of garden types and the things you might find in one.

Hugelkultur: A horticultural technique that involves piling layers of decaying matter such as wood debris into a mound to be planted. This technique helps improve things like fertility of soil, retention of water, and warming of soil.
This is a mini-article series featuring short explanations for words more commonly used in RPGs (or potentially so!) than normal conversation. Each month will hold a different theme and each weekday will have a different word. Note: these are personal, simple breakdowns and not perfect.
