GM Dictionary: Weather #20

This month I wanted to tackle something that often get’s glossed over. When it doesn’t, it tends to be one of the more important features of a scene. Whether you want to use it more, have a little more variety, or be able to drop in more terms for these things I have some weather-related words for you in this month’s GM Dictionary!

Hail is a unique type of frozen precipitation that, unlike snow, is neither light nor fluffy. Hail are solid ice pellets that can grow to sizes that significantly damage the things it hits.

This is a mini-article series featuring short explanations for words more commonly used in RPGs (or potentially so!) than normal conversation. Each month will hold a different theme and each weekday will have a different word. Note: these are personal, simple breakdowns and not perfect. Please tell me if I am mistaken and I will work to correct it! For anyone looking for a collected work please check out our Patreon. All patrons get a PDF collected copy each month!
